The Mizuno Wave Sky 9 is a highly cushioned, neutral road-running shoe. It's designed to offer you a 'gliding running experience', thanks to the super-soft Enerzy NXT midsole. Mizuno’s Wave technology provides excellent shock absorption and guides your foot to encourage a balanced, smooth and natural running motion. To finish everything off perfectly, the Smooth Stretch Woven mesh is soft and breathable.
Ideal Use:
Road running and training, walking. This shoe was crafted for runners who love a cushioned running experience that almost feels like floating.
Upper:
The Smooth Stretch Woven upper is completely seamless. Its precise fit ensures that your feet are held securely in place. The increased perforation on the forefoot allows for better airflow and ventilation, keeping your feet comfortable.
Midsole:
By incorporating the innovative nitrogen-infused Enerzy NXT in the top layer of the midsole and increasing the midsole thickness, Mizuno has enhanced both cushioning and energy return, delivering greater comfort for your feet. The dual-density midsole features a responsive EVA-foam bottom layer, optimised for powerful toe-offs. Complemented by the innovative Wave construction and a wider outsole gauge, this design ensures exceptional stability and a smooth, balanced ride.
Outersole:
The X10 outsole is made of durable rubber with strategically placed flex-grooves. This design allows for flexibility and traction on various surfaces, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.
